  • Ford Explorer base. This entry-level model starts drivers off with a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine. It has standard 300 horsepower, 310 pound-feet of torque, and rear-wheel drive. Equipped with the same turbocharged engine and the same standard features, this trim level adds many creature comforts you'll appreciate, including upgraded upholstery, sound-reducing front windows, keyless entry and ignition, a power-adjustable passenger seat, and added USB port for the backseat.
  • Ford Explorer Limited. As with the previous two trim levels, this SUV also has the turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It also builds on the amenities roster with upgraded brakes, automatic windshield wipers, a hands-free liftgate, a power-adjustable steering wheel, ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, a premium brand sound system, and a 360-degree parking camera system.
  • Ford Explorer Limited Hybrid. Equipped with an identical roster of standard and optional features, this trim is new to the Explorer lineup. The first-ever hybrid Explorer option, it comes powered by a cutting-edge 3.3-liter hybrid V6 engine. It delivers a combined 318 horsepower and the efficiency Las Vegas drivers love about hybrid engineering.
  • Ford Explorer ST. A sporty trim for drivers who like power and performance in their family SUV, this model is equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6. It has 400 horsepower with 415 pound-feet of torque, its own unique style elements, larger wheels, and a sport-tuned suspension system.
  • Ford Explorer Platinum. As the top-of-the-line model, the Platinum Explorer sits in a class by itself. It gets the same turbo V6 as the ST model, but here it delivers 365 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. It also comes with all the standard and optional amenities of previous trims, and it adds adaptive headlights, a two-piece sunroof, and more.
